Super Products 

Randy Buening was promoted from vice president of rentals to president of Super Products LLC, which manufactures, sells and rents vacuum trucks He succeeds Mike Vanden Heuvel, who retired after 13 years in that role. Prior to joining Super Products in 2019, Buening held leadership positions in operations, business development and brand management at JX Enterprises dealer group, PACCAR Inc. and Peterbilt Motors Company. 

Schnabel Engineering 

Chadd Yeatts, P.E., was promoted to senior associate/senior vice president at Schnabel Engineering, where he will continue leading the firm’s Power and Energy pursuit team, helping expand the firm’s presence within the industry. During his more than 23 years of industry experience, including 10 years at the Glen Allen, Va.-based firm, he has demonstrated extensive geotechnical engineering expertise on various projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic, South, and Midwest. 

Smith-Currie 

Eric Nelson was appointed to managing partner of Smith Currie, one of the nation’s most recognized construction and government contracts law firms. Based in the Atlanta office, he oversees strategic operations for the firm’s eight locations across the country. He has been with the firm for more than two decades and currently practices in the areas of construction law and government contracts, focusing on project disputes, and is involved in trying cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. 

Brown & Caldwell 

Dr. Allegra da Silva was promoted to research and development deputy director at Brown and Caldwell, the Walnut Creek, Calif.-based, environmental engineering and construction firm. In this role, she is responsible for aligning Brown and Caldwell’s research and development strategy with its growth objectives, while providing expert counsel to clients. 

SmartCover 

Corey Williams, P.E. joined SmartCover, the North American leader in remote monitoring technology for sewer spill prevention, as president and CEO. He succeeds co-founders and inventors, Dr. Greg Quist and David Drake, who guided the company for more than 15 years and continue as chief visionary officer and chief innovation officer, respectively. 

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam 

Mario Chapa, P.E., joined planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as a regional water/wastewater practice lead.  
He brings 20 years of experience to the role, with responsibility for building client relationships and expanding the water and wastewater practice in Houston, ensuring the design quality of these projects, and mentoring the engineers in the region. 

Samir Matta, P.E., was promoted to vice president at LAN. He has 33 years of experience as a manager and design engineer on public works projects for municipal, county and federal agencies. This includes extensive experience in drainage improvements, combined sewer overflow, sewer rehabilitation and environmental cleanup projects. 

Jeremy Nakashima, P.E., was also promoted to vice president. He has more than 26 years of experience as a project manager and design engineer, and joined LAN in 2010. Currently, he leads the firm’s water and wastewater practice group and previously was regional manager overseeing infrastructure projects in the Midwest area.  

 

CASE Announces Diamond Dealer, Gold Dealer Award Winners 

CASE Construction Equipment has named its 2020 “Diamond Dealer” and “Gold Dealer” award recipients as part of its North American Construction Equipment Partnership Program.
