Bricking Solutions

Bricking Solutions, a provider of refractory installation equipment, introduced the Rolling Work Platform to improve safety and efficiency when servicing long stretches of pipe in applications such as water treatment, tunneling and mining

The durable, custom-engineered platform offers 25-percent greater productivity over traditional rolling scaffolds. It capitalizes on Bricking Solutions’ signature modular design and pin-together construction developed for the EZ Flexx50 Bricking Machine and EZ Lift Suspended Platform

This, coupled with a hydraulic jack system, allows Rolling Work Platform to be erected in as little as 30 minutes, and adjust to maintain a level working surface in less than 20 minutes – even while operating in vessels with an incline of up to 20 degrees.

Traditional rolling scaffolds allow similar modifications, but only by dismantling and rebuilding the structure to account for the incline, which can take over an hour each time. The process also requires keeping proper tools on hand, taking up valuable scaffold space.

Manufactured from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum, Rolling Work Platform offers the same strength as steel at a third of the weight, making it easier to maneuver than traditional scaffolding systems. Four-inch swivel caster wheels increase mobility on flat or rounded surfaces, such as those found in tunnels and pipes.

The standard structure is 11 feet 4 inches long, but it can be customized up to 16 feet to fit a variety of vessels. With a capacity of 2,000 pounds, it can easily support a three-person crew and all required materials, further advancing efficiency and safety.

Each modular piece weighs 40 pounds or less and can fit through a 36-inch diameter access hole. Pin connections improve strength over welded connections and contribute to fast assembly.
