Barbco
David Barbera, co-owner and general manager of East Canton, Ohio, Barbco, and director-at-large for the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) board of directors, conducted a seminar at local trenchless contractor AccuLine Underground.
The event was one of hundreds, reaching tens of thousands of workers, taking place in the fourth year of an innovative NUCA program. “Trench Safety Stand Down” training, toolbox talks, educational seminars, live demonstrations and other activities reinforce the importance of safety around job-site excavations and trenches, and generate dialogue among employees, peers and experts about reducing the associated risks.
