United Rentals Tackles Worksite Challenges with Digital Solutions, Innovation
United Rentals has launched a comprehensive effort to help construction and industrial companies tackle the challenges of today’s worksite, where projects are getting larger and more complex, equipment is often underutilized, labor markets are tighter, regulations more stringent, and the gap between productivity and opportunity is widening.

One new tool/solution is the United Rentals Mobile App which is offered to all customers at no charge and operates on Apple iOS and Android devices.
The Mobile App also connects with United Rentals Total Control, a cloud-based worksite management solution that has a new, improved user interface.
Another new [digital] tool is the next generation of the United Academy safety training and operator certification program, provides all users a single, unified experience, whether purchasing training, taking courses, running reports or accessing training profiles. It also has mobile capabilities, expanded curriculum and integrated virtual reality and augmented reality for operator training and evaluation.
