GTI Earns Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces 2019 Award

GTI was named a 2019 Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune, in recognition of creating and sustaining a positive, productive culture and the novel ways the company and its managers engage, motivate and reward employees.

The award is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party, anonymous survey focused on categories such as company leadership, compensation, training, workplace flexibility and diversity. A “top workplace” is described as an organization that is successful because its employees enjoy their work, embrace their mission and feel like valued teammates. Opportunities for professional growth and being treated with respect are key, in addition to the organization’s total rewards package.

GTI is a leading research, development and training organization that addresses global energy and environmental challenges by developing technology-based solutions for consumers, industry and government for more than 75 years.
