Injection Grouting Expert Leads Logiball Sales, Marketing

USL America, a developer of innovative resin and cementitious technology, appointed Donald Rigby as national sales and marketing manager for Logiball Inc., a long-standing trenchless technology leader and innovator.

According to the U.S.-EPA, nearly 50 percent of the flow to wastewater treatment plants is clean groundwater infiltrating into the collection system, which doubles the cost to pump, transport, and treat. Cost effective solutions include injection grouting to test and seal mainline pipe, laterals, and lateral connections. With more than 800,000 miles of public sewers and 500,000 miles of private lateral sewers across the country, important work must be done.

Rigby will lead this initiative for Logiball, leveraging his 40 years of experience in engineering sales, marketing, and business development. He has a proven track record as an instructor, speaker, and advocate on matters of injection grouting for the wastewater collection system. He is also the principal author of NASTT “Good Practices” coursework titled “Municipal Sewer Grouting” and currently serves as chair of the NASSCO Manhole Rehabilitation Committee.

Joining Logiball, innovator of remotely operated packers – a critical component of the test and seal process, Rigby makes the company well-positioned “to lead the cause of municipal grouting among engineers, utility contractors, and public works,” said John Taylor, president of USL America.

Founded in 1981 and based in Conyers, Ga., USL Group provides civil engineering and construction solutions, specializing in expansion joints, structural and liquid water-proofing, construction chemicals, concrete repair systems, injection resins, and safety and anti-slip products.
