UCT 2021 Tunes in to Education, Networking in ‘Music City’
The underground utility infrastructure is an essential service and now, more than ever, maintaining it effectively and efficiently is crucial. By attending the Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT), Jan. 26–28, 2021 in Nashville, Tenn., you will enhance your ability to do just that.
Everyone will be eager to see industry friends in Nashville, in January, however, it will also be time to get down to the business of underground utility construction and rehabilitation. Through the comprehensive education program, you will gain knowledge, skills and insights that benefit your projects and overall operations. You will also qualify for continuing-education credit granted by the University of Texas at Arlington.
Beyond, and separate time-wise from, the classroom sessions, the exhibit hall showcases the latest equipment and services for construction, and trenchless and open-cut rehabilitation of the underground utility infrastructure. It’s where you can experience the technology first-hand, and interact with company representatives and your peers. For maximum networking, the Welcome Reception on Tuesday and the lunches included with your UCT full conference registration will take place in the exhibit hall.
Strengthen your business through education and networking specifically targeted to your interests and needs – attend UCT!

Source the Latest Equipment, Technology
On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday morning, the UCT exhibit hall will further bring to life the equipment and technologies you hear about during the morning education sessions. This is your chance to enhance your understanding of construction, and trenchless and open-cut rehabilitation methods, by experiencing product demos, asking in-depth questions and determining what will work best on your projects and in your office.
Since UCT is the first major show of its kind annually, you’ll be the first to see new products. Items on display at UCT 2021 include leak detection equipment, locators, pipe ramming, piercing tools, grout, vacuum trucks, and so much more.

‘Music City’ and More
Nashville is intersected by three major interstate highways: I-40 (connecting with Arkansas and North Carolina), I-24 (connecting with Kentucky), and I-65 (connecting with Alabama and Kentucky), making it easy to access by road.
The Nashville International Airport (airport code is BNA) serves 14 airlines and offers more than 540 daily arriving and departing flights, including nonstop air service to 75 U.S. destinations and London. Located eight miles east of downtown, BNA offers a variety of ground transportation options.
Arrive in Nashville a few days ahead of UCT and appreciate that it’s more than “Music City.” Spend time visiting historical attractions and museums. See 900 artifacts from Nashville’s Civil War in the Lotz House. The accidental discovery of an 1858 medicine bottle led to an archeological dig that unearthed hundreds of items that were hidden away in the cellar for more than 150 years.
After a day of learning and networking, you’ll find plenty of options for dining and entertainment in the evening. Live music, of course, can be seen and heard every night at world-famous honky-tonks, restaurants and other venues. And whether
your taste buds prefer haute cuisine or hot chicken (a Nashville fav that’s overwhelmingly spicy with heat levels ranging
from inferno to something more compassionate) – or both – Nashville has something to delight every type of food lover.
The UCT hotel block opens in a few weeks. Be sure to visit UCTonline.com to secure your room and register to attend UCT.
