Granite Acquires Lametti & Sons
Granite Inliner LLC strengthened its position in the water and wastewater market by acquiring CIPP-related assets and equipment of Lametti & Sons Inc.
A Minnesota-based company with expertise in cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation and trenchless renewal, Lametti is one of the original certified installers of the Inliner CIPP product – “an integral part of our Inliner CIPP network for 23 years,” said Denise McClanahan, vice president of Granite Inliner.
With the acquisition, Lametti will become the Minnesota Area office of Granite Inliner, one of the nation’s largest CIPP and trenchless pipe providers. The Orleans, Ind., based company offers sustainable pipeline rehabilitation services for aging water, wastewater and sewer infrastructure needs, to both the public and private sectors, with 17 offices and more than 800 employees in the U.S and Canada
In June 2018, Granite Inliner became a wholly owned subsidiary of Granite Construction Inc., the Watsonville, Calif., full-suite provider in the transportation, water infrastructure and mineral exploration markets.
“This is another step in the execution of our strategic plan which includes strong organic growth through our core business lines, acquisitions in the water and wastewater markets, and additional growth and geographical diversification in our vertically integrated business,” said James Roberts, president and CEO of Granite Construction. •
