Exact Tools Introduces Latest Portable Pipe-Cutting Innovations
Exact Pipe Tools introduced its latest portable pipe-cutting innovations.
PipeCut Air 360 was developed and manufactured in Europe to cut cement-lined cast- and ductile -iron pipe materials for maintenance applications in the water utility market sector.
Specifically, it meets the market demand for an air-driven saw that cuts this type of material in a fixed position underground and encapsulated with water and with an emphasis on safety, speed and consumable cost savings, versus alternative methods. The PipeCut Air 360 model meets these demands and more, and has been enthusiastically received by utility companies in global markets.
Another new product is the Pro Series 360 for professional trades. With a more powerful 2200w 120v motor, this advanced system is able to cut wall thicknesses of 0.5 inches in steel pipe and up to 2 inches in plastic pipe. Other unique features include a laser indicator for precision cutting, improved adjustment mechanism for straight cutting and an overload protection “traffic light” that guides the operator.
Additional models, 280 and 450, will soon be added to the Pro Series.
Over the last 10 years, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Exact Pipe Tools Inc., wholly owned subsidiary of Exact Tools Oy (Helsinki, Finland), has developed portable tools for onsite pipe-cutting, -finishing and -processing that are accurate, versatile, efficient, user-friendly and safe.
