Asahi/America acquires Performance Plastics
Thermoplastic valve and pipe manufacturer Asahi/America Inc. expanded its engineered plastic products and services offering, and fabrication capabilities and capacity by acquiring Louisiana-based fabrication shop Performance Plastics Inc.
Performance Plastics was established in 2009 by Jason Roussel, who continues to oversee the 30,000-square-foot, Gramercy, La. shop now operating as Asahi/America’s PPI division. Adding this fully equipped thermoplastics fabrication workshop and more than 25 years of experience, Performance Plastics provides a range of project planning services that complement Asahi/America’s products and training programs.
Based in Lawrence, Mass., Asahi/America is a premier provider of thermoplastic fluid flow solutions for industrial, commercial and environmental applications. Supported by a team of designers, engineers, fabricators and trainers, its piping systems, valves and actuators have been installed with confidence for more than 40 years in a variety of industries.
