NASSCO Launches Nation-Wide Search for Executive Director

The National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) has opened a search for its next executive director.

Recently, the NASSCO board of directors accepted the resignation of Ted DeBoda, P.E., who served as executive director for eight years. DeBoda will continue his role as a Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) Master Trainer and is providing consulting services to ensure a smooth transition.

Mark Metcalfe, former NASSCO president, is serving as interim executive director and leading the nationwide search for DeBoda’s successor.

The NASSCO job description states that the position is an: “Exciting opportunity to lead NASSCO as it pursues its mission to set standards for the assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation of underground infrastructure.

“This full-time position, located at NASSCO’s headquarters in Marriottsville, Md., requires a strong understanding of the underground infrastructure industry, a solid background in operational management, and a desire to advance the continued acceptance and growth of trenchless technologies.”
