Designed for increased durability, the Ditch Witch Rockmaster All Terrain (AT) housings feature a heavier, more robust bearing design, higher-strength door, easy serviceability and high flow capability. Dual rod technology allows the housing to provide superior performance in a variety of challenging job-site conditions, including rock formations. The floating spindle design protects the beacon, while the strategic cavity and signal slots maximize electronic needs. The Rockmaster housing is compatible with the full suite of Ditch Witch AT directional drills.

The newest tooling option for Vermeer dual rod directional drills is the RH15 rock drill head. Developed in conjunction with the D40x55DR S3, the RH15 can handle 1,500 foot-pounds of inner rod torque for pilot production. It is designed to give excellent steering control and sonde security using a proven roll pin lid. The RH15 rock drill head is affordably priced and can be rebuilt in the field, giving contractors an outstanding value for their investment.

Bit Brokers International now offers an optimally designed HDD fixed-blade polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) reamer. Created from inexpensive, manmade diamonds, PDC cutters have superior hardness, but unlike diamonds by themselves, do bond together and can be brace-attached to bit bodies. The new spiral blade, available in sizes from 6 inches to 24 inches, offers the fastest rate of penetration and enhanced durability for fixed-blade PDC reamers in both hard and soft rock formations.

Hunting Trenchless has added a 4-inch model to its innovative M-series line of mud motors. Like all Hunting mud motors, the new model incorporates a 2-degree bend in the housing for effective steering, even in the toughest rock. With the transmitter located just 18 inches from the drill head, the tool provides real-time tracking of depths up to 90 feet. The 4-inch motor can be packaged with a Hunting-branded receiver, optimized for the smaller transmitter.
