Volvo Construction Equipment
Luiz Marcelo Daniel was appointed vice president Hub Latin America-Americas Region, based in Curitiba, Brazil, responsible for strengthening the company’s market position in Latin America, while reinforcing the brand’s global efforts. He brings 30-plus years of experience, including more than a decade with the Volvo Group and in Latin America.

Caterpillar
Following a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years with the company, Rob Charter, group president of Customer & Dealer Support, has elected to retire.

Replacing him is Bob De Lange, who has had a 25-year career with Caterpillar, across Europe, the United States and Asia. He has held a range of leadership, product and marketing positions, he gained diverse experience working with the dealer network, most recently as group president of Caterpillar Construction Industries.

Tom Pellette, previously Energy & Transportation group president, replaced De Lange, leading the Construction Industries group.

Ramin Younessi, previously vice president of the Industrial Power Systems Division, replaced Pellette, serving as Energy & Transportation group president.

Brierley Associates
Don Painter rejoined Brierley Associates, as senior tunnel construction professional in the firm’s newest Honolulu office. Painter has more than 43 years of experience, including almost 20 years with Brierley, as a contractor, and has built about 20 tunnels totaling 100-plus miles. His extensive expertise and unique constructability knowledge spans conventional and tunnel boring machine (TBM) tunnel construction for wastewater, water and transportation projects utilizing open (main beam) shielded TBMs.

Gannett Flemming
Anthony Ferruccio, P.E., joined global infrastructure and engineering firm Gannett Fleming as a senior vice president and director of Construction Services Business Line. In this role he leads strategic growth of program and construction management, risk management of alternative delivery, and construction engineering inspection services. His 40 years of industry experience includes executive management of high-profile, multibillion-dollar programs and projects.

GEI Consultants
Brandon Teel, P.E., R.G., joined the new St. Louis office of  GEI Consultants Inc., a leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science engineering firm. He will support clients on a variety of projects involving GEI core markets, including gas and electric utilities, oil and gas, water resources and industrial. Teel has more than 15 years of related engineering and consulting management experience.

Curry Supply
Andrew Roberts is the new vice president of Sales at Curry Supply Company, a Martinsburg, Pa., family-owned, 86-year-old manufacturer of commercial service vehicles. He plays a critical role supporting the regional sales team in maximizing growth opportunities within current and new industries. Roberts brings more than six years of construction and rental industry experience, with a focus on marketing strategies, from product development to customer engagement.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas
Chad Parker joined the marketing team as senior product specialist and sales trainer for wheel loaders and compaction rollers, and a secondary focus on other Hyundai products. He has 15 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry and 11 years on the manufacturing side.

Eli Bello joined the sales team, responsible for assisting Hyundai dealers across the South Central regions of the U.S. He brings more than 17 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, with 10 of those years in the sales field.

LAN
Philip Wheat, P.E., is a senior project manager at planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN). He leads the Dallas infrastructure team, and manages large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout North Texas. With 10-plus years as client and project manager, and in business development, he has experience in water and wastewater design..

Lynn Chamberlain, P.E., joined LAN as a water conveyance engineer, involved in the implementation of municipal, utilities and public works projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, storage facilities, hydraulic computer modeling and system evaluations. She has more than 12 years of experience in hydraulics and hydrology.

Hobas Pipe USA
John Simonson was promoted to division manager, primarily overseeing sales efforts in the Southern market of the U.S. Joining HOBAS in 2003 as area sales manager, he developed technical expertise and key relationships that contributed to expanded use of Hobas products.
