Sharewell HDD hosted an open house in November at its new, spacious facility located in north Houston at 21315 W Hardy Rd. The company displayed a wide array of its equipment for the horizontal directional drilling industry.

About 130 customers and other guests attended the event which included product demonstrations and presentations on a wide variety of products and services. Co-sponsoring the event were Right Turn Supply and Herrenknecht.

Sharewell is a leading supplier of downhole drilling tools, guidance systems, and services for the HDD industry. The company partners with contractors involved in pipeline, telecommunications and utility projects.

“We wanted to showcase our new facility as well as our new products such as the Gemini Rock Reamers which are now considered the best in the industry for hard rock applications,” said Sharewell HDD COO Dan Sharpe. “We also wanted to demonstrate the features and benefits of our remote control, fully hydraulic Pipe Vac which has taken vacuum pipe lifting to a new level.”

Sharewell was founded in 1985 utilizing downhole technology from the oilfield to become the first service company in the world dedicated solely to servicing the HDD pipeline and utility industry.

Added Sharpe, “We were happily surprised by the turn-out and the comments we received from our customers. We hope to do this again in the not too distant future. It gave us a chance to say thanks to our customers.”
