PLM Cat, Michels Celebrate Milestone
A ceremony at PipeLine Machinery International’s (PLM) Victoria, Texas, Caterpillar Hydraulic Excavator Facility commemorated assembly of its 10,000th machine and delivery of the new 336F to Michels Corporation, the Brownsville, Wis., infrastructure and utility contractor.
Based in Cypress, Texas (near Houston), PLM provides Caterpillar equipment and support to the mainline pipeline construction industry operating around the globe. Opened in 2012, the state-of-the-art Victoria facility builds 336F, 349F and 352F hydraulic excavator models.
Also celebrating the milestone were representatives from Michels’ local dealer, Fabick Cat. The 100-year, family-owned, Fenton, Mo., business provides Caterpillar equipment, power systems, parts and service, and rental equipment for major portions of Missouri and Illinois, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and the entire state of Wisconsin.
