Ditch Witch Awards Superior Customer-Service, Sales Performance (1)
Ditch Witch, a Charles Machine Works Company, recognized individuals and dealerships that exemplified the highest level of product support and service worldwide throughout 2017.
Jon Ahlman, Ditch Witch of Arizona, received the 2017 Harold Chesnutt Award honoring the parts manager who best exemplifies the enthusiasm and dedication Harold Chesnutt brought to his profession for more than 30 years. Ahlman has been a loyal member of the Ditch Witch family since 1981.
As the 2017 Service Manager of the Year, Kyle Liebman, Ditch Witch Northwest, best promoted the highest level of product support to customers and superior leadership to co-workers. With a passion for mechanics, Liebman joined the Ditch Witch organization in 1998 and served as a “jack-of-all-trades.”
Awards also recognized the top dealership service departments that pursue the highest level of customer support in the industry and help the Ditch Witch organization maintain its status as a leader in customer care:

The 2017 Lowell Highfill Award, the organization’s most prestigious honor for salespeople worldwide, was presented to Robbin Womack, Ditch Witch of Houston, for superior product knowledge and performance in promoting and marketing Ditch Witch products, job-site solutions and services. Ditch Witch of Houston, a family-owned dealership, has provided underground construction service and support to the greater Houston-area for more than 40 years.
Womack began his career with the Houston dealership as a service manager in 1977, later expanding his talents into the parts department. Whether it is changing beacon frequencies, adjusting chain tension, or troubleshooting parts for a trencher, he can usually handle the customer’s issue in one phone call.
“Working to fulfill our ‘We’re in this Together’ philosophy, Ditch Witch dealerships and employees are dedicated to building customer relationships and providing exemplary product expertise and support,” said Dennis Wierzbicki, Ditch Witch president. “These annual service awards recognize those who have gone above and beyond to satisfy that commitment.”
