Underground Corrosion Training Offered at AUCSC 2017
The 62nd annual Appalachian Underground Corrosion Short Course (AUCSC 2017) will take place May 9-11, in Morgantown, WV.
AUCSC offers more than 100 hours of multi-level technical training on the causes and prevention of corrosion on underground structures. Licensed professional engineers may earn professional development hours (PDHs) for courses attended at AUCSC. A NACE Technician Review Course is also offered, and AUCSC hours may be applied towards NACE recertification requirements.
Other special features include:
- Voluntary Testing for the Fundamentals, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Courses.
- Outdoor Workshops providing practical hands-on experience in corrosion measurements on underground structures.
- Over 100 Exhibits displaying the latest products and services for corrosion protection, corrosion engineering and pipeline services.
- Roundtable Discussion, with question and answer session, on corrosion control procedures.
The pre-registration fee for the entire AUCSC 2017 program is $150 before May 1; onsite registration is $200.
