CASE Introduces High Performance 521F Wheel Loader

CASE 521F wheel loader meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards through the use of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. The newest machine from CASE delivers 131 net horsepower with an FPT Tier 4 Final-certified engine, providing quick throttle response and powerful torque. The 22,948-pound, 521F wheel loader features a breakout force of 19,303-pounds with 2.3-cubic yards of bucket capacity.

The SCR technology give the machine capability for handling inconsistent engine loads while maintaining the ability to run at peak performance without compromising its power – all thanks to a faster throttle response and acceleration while still maintaining lower exhaust temperatures and improving fuel efficiency.

While the SCR technology assists the 521F in delivery 10 percent greater fuel economy over wheel loaders with CEGR-DPF solutions, additional fuel savings are met with standard auto-idle, helping minimize excessive fuel burn during operator inactivity by lowering engine RPM. After an operator-set length of time passes, standard auto shutdown goes into work, shutting down the engine to further preserve fuel.

CASE’s newest wheel loader also incorporates quick hydraulics packed with power and a host of other features designed to enhance machine efficiency including: standard limited-slip axels; standard Z-bar linkage for large operating loads; XR linkage for extended reach and dump clearance; tool-carrier XT linkage; a wide selection of tires, including snow tires; buckets featuring the optional Smart-Fit bucket tooth system; and, an expanded selection of attachments.

The 521F wheel loader also features the CASE Quiet Cab, the largest cab in the industry, for operator comfort. The dual air filtration system, optional heated air-ride seat and insulated cab mount allows for a clean, quiet operating environment, maximizing productivity. In addition, floor-to-ceiling windows, an improved lighting system and optional rearview camera give operators excellent visibility around the machine. This new wheel loader also features a joystick steering option and an Advanced Instrument Cluster with four selectable power modes for intuitive control.

The CASE mid-mounted cooling system featured on the 521F is designed like a cube with all coolers facing fresh ambient air, improving effectiveness and efficiency in system cooling and making the system easier to clean. Operators can also benefit from the design during routine service, as the cube configuration moves the engine lower and to the rear of the wheel loader, improving balance and access to critical daily service points. The machine features ground-level fluid gauges and a tilt-up rear hood for complete engine access, and the lower profile allows for a sloped rear hood to further improve visibility to the back of the 521F.

CASE ProCare – the industry’s first all-in-one heavy machine support program – covers the 521F wheel loader. The program includes an array of product assurances including a three-year Advanced CASE SiteWatch telematics subscription, a three-year/3,000-hour full-machine factory warranty, and a three-year/3,000-hour planned maintenance contract.

ProCare allows business owners to make investments in new equipment while helping make owning and operating cost more predictable during the first three years of ownership. www.casece.com.
