Vermeer Board of Directors Welcomes Industry Veterans

Vermeer Board Robert HundVermeer Board of Directors announced the appointment of two veteran corporate executives within the industrial equipment manufacturing industry – Robert Hund and Scott Nelson – earlier this year.

Vermeer President and CEO, Jason Andringa, said the company will benefit from the vast business and manufacturing management experience both men bring to the boardroom, in addition to their strengths in tactical thinking and financial management.

The Vermeer board boasts a roster of superlative executives who serve as autonomous directors who bring a mindset of operational excellence, global perspective and relative cross-functional experience to Vermeer’s global agricultural and industrial equipment business.

Nelson currently serves as president of Sullair LLC, an industry leading global manufacturer of compressed air solutions, where he leads the company’s product development, manufacturing and worldwide distribution network. His past experience also includes executive-level positions with Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment, Doosan Infracore International and Ingersoll Rand/Bobcat Division.
