Vermeer Texas-Louisiana Opens Amarillo Facility
Vermeer Texas – Louisiana, a market leader in underground and environmental equipment opened a new facility in Amarillo, TX in October 2015. The new facility serves as a replacement to the company’s previous location on the southeast side of the city, which opened in 2007.
The 15,000-square-feet facility boasts larger service bays, additional parts storage and a meeting room for special events. The new location sits on six acres on the south side of Amarillo, directly off I-27. The larger structure will allow the company to hold a higher equipment stock, as well as host demonstration and training events.
The grand opening celebration in October was well attended by more than 250 people, including vendors McLaughlin, MI SWACO and Railhead. The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony which included leaders from the city as well as local community ambassadors. 972-255-3500, www.vermeertexas.com.
