PVC4Pipes Develops Archive For Content Sharing, Industry Advancements

PVC4Pipes opened a public archive consisting of more than 250 PVC papers, which were delivered during sequential International Plastic Pipe Conferences throughout the past 45 years, making more than one million words of technical and commercial importance to the PVC industry available for scanning, sorting and sharing content.

Executive Director of PVC4Pipes, Fabio Bernardi, said the company designed its new data resource to serve as reference material for a wide spectrum of stakeholders including academia; environmental groups; government; raw materials suppliers; plastic pipe manufacturers; and customers and end-users.

The biannual International Plastic Pipe Conferences began in Southampton, United Kingdom as a forum to share the latest business and technical news in the plastic pipe technology industry, and have grown to include more than 500 participants and speakers from more than 40 countries.

The advancement of technology and benefits in the PVC pipe industry is growing at a rapid pace, and the PVC pipe portal allows PVC4Pipes to communicate with its multitude of audiences, direct visitors to the company’s website and differentiate PVC pipe solutions from antiquate non-plastic pipe systems, Bernardi said. “[The papers] describe and prescribe a world where added value is created in terms of public health and well-being,”
he added.

All papers posted to the archive are available to download for free at
