Hyundai Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October,  began to sell custom pink shirts and wristbands through Hyundai construction and forklift dealers across the U.S. and Canada. All proceeds from Hyundai’s efforts benefitted It’s The Journey Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Georgia that raises awareness and funds for organizations focusing on breast cancer education, screening, early detection, supportive services and continuing care.

The t-shirts in the campaign sold for $12 while the wristbands were priced at $5.

President of Hyundai Equipment Americans, M.S. Kang, said Hyundai’s customers tend to be active in their local communities, so the company followed in their footsteps by supports It’s The Journey’s flagship event – a 30-mile, two-day walk beginning in Atlanta near Hyundai’s North American headquarters.

Hyundai sponsored a rest stop along the route where snacks and beverages were presented to race participants.
