Tesmec to Provide Extended Powertrain Warranty on New Trenchers
Tesmec USA Inc., a leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of mechanical and hydrostatic trenchers, has entered into an agreement with Glynn General Corporation (GGC) to provide extended powertrain warranty on all new trenchers sold to U.S. and Canadian end users.
The program, in effect as of April 2015, was designed to face the growth in the construction industry and a broadening customer base. This new tailored extended warranty ensures the engine, transmission and driveline to be free of defects in material for three years.
Furthermore, the new warranty program insures the costs associated with mechanical breakdown or failure due to defects in material in relation to the engine, transmission, and driveline for three years. Coverage can be expanded to cover the hydraulics for an additional charge. Extension coverage is available for up to 5 years/10,000 hours (inclusive of the base warranty).
Other benefits of this new program include:
• $0 Deductible per claim;
• Parts reimbursable at MSRP;
• Labor reimbursable at the list price for shop for all repair facilities;
• Warranty in effect for all units operating within the US and Canada; and
• Efficient claims process administered by GGC.
