LAN Launches New Website
Planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, (LAN) launched its new website: www.lan-inc.com.
“As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we are constantly looking for better ways to serve our clients in the infrastructure industry,” said Dennis Petersen, LAN’s president. “This new website will give our clients the information they are looking for in a quick and easy manner.”
The new website will enable visitors to learn more about the firm’s history, people, project experience, services and expertise. Potential employees will gain a better understanding of the firm’s culture, employment opportunities, project types they will be working on, mentorship and training programs, and community activities.
“Clients can now find project examples similar to the ones they are working on as well as the expertise of the people who worked on these projects,” said Kerry Gregg, LAN’s director of marketing. “Whether it’s a transportation or water project, you will be able to quickly understand the firm’s capabilities.”
The new website includes multimedia content, is mobile-friendly and supports LAN’s LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter social media platforms.
In other company news, Leisa Nelson, P.E., joins LAN as a regional director. In this role, Nelson will manage the company’s Houston Large Diameter Pipe group.
Nelson has more than 30 years of civil engineering experience. Previously, she served as vice president and manager of the Houston office of the infrastructure and environment division of URS Corp. Prior to that, she served KBR Inc., in a number of senior leadership roles, including national water market director, executive director, director of engineering, manager of business planning and program manager. She also worked for the city of Houston as a plant manager for 10 years.
Nelson received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston. Nelson is a registered professional engineer and certified wastewater operator in Texas. 713.266.6900, www.lan-inc.com
