Product Focus: Robotic Cutters: LMK Technologies, Pipeline Renewal Technologies, CUES
LMK Technologies
German engineered Schwalm Robotic systems cut faster and are the most efficient cutter in the market. Self-driven, Schwalm robots can access the pipe and make renovations from a single manhole access point. It cuts, grinds and chisels the circumference of a pipe and operates in pipe diameters from 5.5 to 24 inches. Abilities include remote disconnection of the lining equipment, allowing continued use of the robot while the first liner is curing, increasing production. 815.433.1275, www.lmktechnologies.com
Pipeline Renewal Technologies
The new Micro Premium robotic lateral cutter from Pipeline Renewal Technologies delivers 30 percent more cutting power than the Micro Pro, plus a touch-screen interface. Using remote-inflated air bladders, the arm positions itself remotely by creeping and climbing; clamps itself for precise cutting in vertical or horizontal orientation; and feeds the cutting head a full 4 inches. Agile articulation (400-degree rotation and 90-degree swivel) facilitates precision cutting, as well as maneuvering through 90-degree bends in 4-inch lines. 866.936.8476, www.pipelinert.com
CUES
Made to withstand the most severe conditions and ergonomically designed for comfort and efficiency, CUES truck-mounted systems can include TV inspection equipment for sewer/storm/potable water lines, mainline joint or lateral sealing, and lateral reinstatement cutters for the relining industry. CUES custom TV/Cutter inspection trucks are available with Schwalm Self Propelled Cutters for 6- to 12-inch lines or 8- to 24-inch lines or CUES Kangaroo Cutters, which include full capabilities for reinstating lateral services, removal of protruding taps, brush finishing existing cuts, and pre- and post-TV inspection. 800.327.7791, www.cuesinc.com
