Envirosight Offers RX95 Crawler

The RX95 crawler offers narrow-diameter capability for environmental and industrial applications, and integrates with existing ROVVER X system components for maximum affordability.

Designed to inspect pipes and passageways as narrow as 4 inches, the new RX95 is the latest addition to the industry-leading ROVVER X line of video inspection crawlers. As with all ROVVER X crawlers, it is based on a compact, maneuverable footprint designed to overcome obstacles, and it incorporates a digital control architecture that makes it infinitely upgradeable. The RX95 works with any ROVVER X camera, controller and reel, so adding small-diameter capability is only an incremental investment for existing ROVVER X customers.

“For the environmental sector, narrow-diameter equipment is key to inspecting 6-inch relined pipe and 4-inch long-run laterals,” says Richard Lindner, president of Envirosight.

“For industrial customers, narrow-diameter pipes are even more commonplace,” he continues. “Because the RX95 is available with an ultra-portable manual reel and handheld control pendant, it can be deployed even in the most difficult areas—like scaffolding, lifts and catwalks.”

The RX95 offers steerable six-wheel drive for maximum maneuverability; onboard sensors for tilt, roll, pressure and temperature; and a built-in selectable 412/640Hz sonde for easy locating. Interchangeable wheels and other modular accessories adapt it to a wide range of pipe conditions, and pairing it with the ROVVER X long-range cable reel yields an impressive travel range of 1,640 feet. In addition to working with the standard ROVVER X pan/tilt/zoom camera, the RX95 is also available with low-profile pan/tilt and axial cameras (either is required for 4-inch applications), along with ultra-portable manual reels in 330- and 660-foot lengths. 866.936.8476, envirosight.com
