SAK Construction Adds Stier As GM Of of Atlantic Region Office
SAK Construction, LLC (SAK), one of the fastest growing pipeline rehabilitation companies in the U.S., has named Robert Stier general manager of its Atlantic Division office in Arbutus, Md.
A 32-year veteran of the tunneling and underground construction industries, Stier has field supervised and managed major underground projects across the U.S. He will head SAK’s new regional facility where it expects to employ 50 people by year-end 2016.
Prior to joining SAK, Stier was area manager for Kiewit Corporation where he oversaw drill-and-blast tunneling, micro-tunneling and pressurized face operations for its Underground District. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Ga.
