Clock Spring Appoints Two Positions
Clock Spring Company L.P. has appointed Buddy Powers as director of sales for North and South America.
Powers has been developing markets in the America’s for the last 15 years and has presented several technical papers on the topic of composite repairs within the pipeline industry as well as the use of eddy currents for defect analysis. Powers began his career as a technical sales representative with Clock Spring in 2000 after graduating college with a degree in chemical engineering.
In his new role, Powers will expand Clock Spring’s markets in Latin America and Canada while overseeing the efforts of Clock Spring’s regional managers in the eastern and western United States.
Chris Landis, P.E., also has been appointed regional sales manager of the eastern United States. Landis has been with the company since 2013 as a technical sales representative, having previously worked as project manager and project engineer for Leonard Jackson Associates as a civil engineer. 281.951.6230, clockspring.com
