S&N Communications Gets Major Fiber Optic Contract
S&N Communications, a provider of construction and maintenance services to telecomm, cable and utility companies, based in Kernersville, NC, and with corporate offices in Louisa, VA, was recently awarded a major contract for fiber optic work in West Virginia and Pittsburgh, PA.
The contract represents the company’s first significant expansion into the two states and was awarded by a current customer that had experienced the work of S&N in nearby states.
“S&N Communications had a limited presence in West Virginia and Pennsylvania prior to being awarded this contract,” says Chuck Baur, director of business development for the company. “This new opportunity, however, means our company will be a major provider for locating and construction in these territories for years to come.”
According to Baur, the recent acquisition of Stake Center Locating by S&N Communications is one factor that is fueling the company’s growth. “Stake Center was providing locating services in many states that S&N was hoping to expand into. However, Stake Center provided locating exclusively.
