Audio Supply Unveils WMS-1B Wireless Monitoring System
The WMS-1B wireless monitoring system, also referred to as the Yellow Box, has proven to reduce the costs that accompany unwanted utility hits.
Developed by Audio Supply to serve the horizontal drilling industry, the WMS-IB helps reduce the loss of man hours, damage to property and the costs associated with after-hour repairs. Drilling can take place in close proximity to underground utilities such as sewer, water and gas pipes. By monitoring the sound of the drill-head, it is possible to identify when it meets an obstruction such as a gas line or sewer connection.
