Ditch Witch
The Ditch Witch organization announces numerous upgrades to its RT45 ride-on trencher, the rental industry’s number one choice in its horsepower class for the last 50 years. The RT45 offers a Tier 4, 49-hp Deutz diesel engine designed for minimal maintenance and maximum operator productivity. The engine offers ample power to drive each attachment: trencher, backhoe, earth saw, vibratory plow, micro-trencher and combination trencher/plow. 800.654.6481, ditchwitch.com

Mid America Trenchers
From cable installations, rural water or small inch oil and gas the Buckeye 9200 Magnum is designed with durability and versatility in mind to meet the demands of the modern industrial contractor. Its 55,000 pounds build weight is tough enough to handle trenching chores from the oil field to the wind farm and everything in between. Toro
The Toro RT600 riding trencher is built to deliver smooth, consistent performance in tough digging conditions. The RT600 is the only trencher in its class using a flywheel, torsion shaft and planetary gear reduction system. The flywheel minimizes trencher stalls, the torsion shaft absorbs shock loads from the drive train, and the planetary gears multiply hydrostatic motor torque to provide unsurpassed trenching power. The Toro RT600 is equipped with a 65-hp Cummins B3.3 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine. The dual hydrostatic system provides optimal performance for trenching and plowing. The RT600 also features four-wheel steering for maneuverability and incorporates crab steering for improved handling on slopes. 800.344.8676, toro.com

Vermeer
Vermeer’s new PTX44 ride-on service plow is powered by a 46.8-hp Kubota water-cooled gasoline engine with 88.7 foot-pounds of torque to plow, trench and bore, depending on the application. Planetary axles provide an extra measure of efficiency, reducing the amount of stress and torque going into the driveline. The PTX44 showcases ingenuity by utilizing electronic over hydraulic controls, providing fingertip control and more precise handling of the machine. The operator’s station is located at the center of the service plow directly above the machine’s articulation point, providing excellent visibility of the entire work area. Access to hydraulic and engine oil filters does not require removal of any shielding, making servicing and preventive maintenance more efficient. The dedicated plow has a maximum installation depth of 24 inches. The optional trencher attachment has a maximum trenching depth of 42 inches and width of 6 inches. The optional bore attachment has a rotational torque of 620 foot-pounds. 888.837.6337, vermeer.com
