Pipeline, Energy Expo Announces 2014 Speakers, Professional Development Opportunities

Three speakers including Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine will share their knowledge and expertise with attendees of The Pipeline & Energy Expo, a three-day oil, gas and pipeline energy conference and trade show with industry networking and professional development opportunities, August 25-27, at the Cox Center in Tulsa.

As the fourth largest natural-gas-producing state in the nation, Oklahoma is a major hub for energy and pipeline industries, and a prime location for exchanging business opportunities with industry professionals.

Congressman Bridenstine, who was elected in 2012 to represent Oklahoma’s First District and serves on both the House Armed Services and Science, Space and Technology committees, will deliver a keynote address on Wednesday, August 27, during the Expo’s Energy Trends Conference. He will speak on the Cruz/Bridenstine energy bill promoting liberation of energy producers to maximize energy production, job creation and prosperity for America. The conference, which includes a buffet breakfast, will also feature presentations by guest speakers Aaron J. Burke of Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP and Charles Nevle, Manager, Energy Analysis with Bentek Energy, offering insights into current energy legislation and economic forecasts.

The one-day Expo Trade Show will start at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, with a Professional Development Workshop led by professional leadership and performance execution coach Dr. Jeff Magee. Expo Trade Show attendees can earn Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits during two one-hour training sessions, including “Introduction to Trenchless Installation” presented by Jeff Davis and Brian Grim, both with Ditch Witch, and “Magellan West Texas to Houston Crude Oil Pipelines” by Mark McKenzie with Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. Exhibits and product demonstrations from prominent oil and gas service, supply, and equipment companies will be available throughout the day.

The Expo kicks off on Monday, August 25, with traditional offerings of a golf scramble at Tulsa Country Club, and a charity dinner with a silent auction benefiting local charitable organizations through the Eagle Gift Foundation. Major sponsors of The Pipeline & Energy Expo 2014 include local, regional and national companies including T.D. Williamson Inc.; Ditch Witch; Vacuworx; Mathey Dearman, Inc.; McDaniel Tech Services, Inc.; Hampel Oil Distributors, Inc.; QPS Engineering, LLC; Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc.; Energy Rental Solutions; MRC Global Inc.; and Matrix Service Co., among others.

“It’s the engagement of our generous sponsors, innovative exhibitors and dedicated volunteers that drives The Pipeline & Energy Expo to new heights, as reflected by the high caliber of speakers and professional development events that have been lined up for the industry leaders and hands-on operators joining us in 2014,” said Expo Chairman Bill Solomon. “We’re working hard to create greater opportunities for education and networking around the oil, gas and energy pipeline sector while building mutually beneficial relationships with growth potential in the industry and to keep Oklahoma strong.”

Exhibitor, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are still available. A complete schedule and details regarding the event venue and hotel accommodations can be found along with the Expo’s online registration system for sponsors, exhibitors or attendees at www.pipelineenergyexpo.com.
