Skid-steer loaders by New Holland Construction, Caterpillar, Volvo CE, Bobcat, John Deere, Case, Toro, Vermeer, Ditch Witch and Bobcat.

New Holland Construction
New Holland’s newest addition to the 200 Series, the L221 skid steer, offers a new level of performance in a radial-arm machine. At 74 hp and with a rated operating capacity of 2,100 pounds, the L221 is the largest, most powerful of New Holland’s three radial-arm skid steer models. The L221 is outfitted with a wide cab, and better visibility, giving operators a 360-degree view of the jobsite. The long wheelbase allows operators to lift and haul more material, increasing productivity. This design makes even novice operators confident on the job. northamerica.construction.newholland.com

Caterpillar
The Cat 289D compact track loader, with its vertical lift design, delivers extended reach and lift height for quick and easy truck loading. Its standard, suspended undercarriage system provides superior traction, flotation, stability and speeds to work in a wide range of applications and underfoot conditions. The machine features a completely new cab with first-in-class designs that enhance operator comfort and control, new lift arm design for improved sight lines, and increased engine performance for greater productivity. The larger frame 289D CTL features an electronically controlled 3.3-liter engine that meets Tier 4 Final (Stage IIIB) emissions standards. The Cat C3.3B engine provides 74 hp with 8 percent more torque and 6 percent improved fuel economy compared to the previous models. 309.675.1000, cat.com

Volvo CE
The radial lift Volvo MC70C skid steer loader features a unique single loader arm design and delivers customers the superior loading performance and durability found in a traditional skid steer design, along with the improved visibility, safety and enhanced cab access of a side-entry machine. The robust design and reinforcement of a single loader arm provides reliability and effectively distributes the load. Without the horizontal cross member found on two-arm vertical lift machines, operators experience excellent all-around, class-leading visibility. 828.650.2000, volvoce.com

Bobcat
With a rated operating capacity of 3,875 pounds and an operating weight of 10,008 pounds, the S850 is now the largest Bobcat skid-steer loader. Thanks to vertical-style lift arms, the S850 offers a lift height of 144 inches; given it the most lift height of any Bobcat loader. It is powered by a 92-hp water-cooled diesel engine. Routine maintenance on the S850 has been minimized to enhance operator productivity. The redesigned cooling system makes it easier to clean out the cooling system, with an oil cooler that swings up, allowing the operator to clean the areas between the oil cooler and radiator. Operators have the choice between standard hand/foot controls or the new Selectable Joystick Controls. The control levers on the optional Selectable Joystick Controls move up and down in conjunction with the seat to reduce arm movement and fatigue as the operator controls the machine. The joystick mounts slide forward or backward to adjust to the preference of each individual operator. bobcat.com

John Deere
New E-Series line of skid steer loaders (318E, 320E) and compact track loaders (CTLs) (319E, 323E) feature design and performance enhancements. The machines include upgraded boom performance, auxiliary lines that are integrated through the boom for improved visibility and added protection, and cab improvements aimed at improving operator and machine productivity, uptime, and lower daily operating costs. John Deere offers all major control patterns on these models to meet customers’ specific needs. This includes traditional hand and foot controls, hand only controls, or low-effort, electro-hydraulic (EH) joystick controls in both the ISO and “H” patterns. Other new features include connect-under-pressure auxiliary hydraulic couplers and courtesy lighting that stays on up to 90 seconds after the engine is shut down, illuminating the way for easier exists out of dark barns or after-hour jobsites. 800.503.3373, deere.com

Case
The Case SV185 skid steer loader is built with the hydraulics and lift to tackle the toughest jobs. The new heating and air conditioning systems create a comfortable environment year-round, helping you become more productive and ultimately improving your bottom line. The SV185 offers a DOC-Only solution to meet Tier 4 emissions regulations while delivering more power and capability within the same compact skid steer dimensions. The Power Stance wheelbase and 30/70 weight balance gives the SR185 the dynamic stability to dig, lift, travel and maneuver with more material to maximize productivity. Enjoy the flexibility to increase the machines’ rated operating capacities by a hundred pounds — to 1,950 pounds with add-on counterweights. 866.542.2736, casece.com
