PFERD Slates Skaalen As Operations VP
PFERD Inc. announced the appointment of Peter Skaalen as their new vice president of Operations.
Skaalen will be based at the PFERD facility in Milwaukee, WI, where he will be responsible for directing all manufacturing and distribution operations for PFERD ADVANCE in the U.S. PFERD ADVANCE is a leader in brush design and manufacturing and had moved all their production equipment and inventory to their 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Milwaukee just three years ago.
Skaalen comes to PFERD from Waukesha Metal products where he served five years as operations manager. At PFERD, he will report directly to company president, Gene Huegin.
He also previously served as general manager of Slinger Manufacturing, director of operations for Huffy Sports and plant engineer for John Deere. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Stout.
