Aegion receives $5.6 million contract from Dallas

Aegion Corporation’s subsidiary, Insituform Technologies, has been awarded a three-year term contract valued at approximately $5.6 million from the city of Dallas, TX.

Insituform will perform wastewater pipeline rehabilitation using its Insituform cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) throughout the city of Dallas from January 2013 until December 2015.

Jeff Kowal, vice president and general manager of Insituform’s east region, said, “Insituform has worked with the city of Dallas on multiple occasions and we are happy to again partner with them to provide a high-quality rehabilitation solution. Our project management and operations teams will work closely with the city of Dallas to ensure that we are exceeding the requirements of this term contract.”

As part of the agreement, Insituform will utilize several minority and woman owned businesses to perform vital functions supporting the installation of Insituform CIPP.
