Texas to get aid for water/wastewater improvements

The Texas Water Development Board has approved financial assistance for water and wastewater system improvements totaling $109,094,303.

Water
• $3,468,600 loan to the city of Edcouch
• $1,310,000 loan to the city of Amarillo
• $1,000,000 loan to the city of Del Rio
• $8,223,296 loan to the city of Eagle Pass
• $2,503,816 loan to North San Saba Water Supply Corporation
• $12,406,688 loan to the City of Pharr
• $1,176,272 loan to the Upper Leon River Municipal Water District
• $2,110,000 loan to the White River Municipal Water District
• $61,200 grant to the Edom Water Supply Corporation
• $7,500,000 loan to the Bitter Creek Water Supply Corporation
• $1,200,000 loan to the U & F Water Supply Corporation

Wastewater
• $385,000 loan to the city of Falfurrias
• $2,079,431 loan to the city of Grand Prairie
• $65,000,000 loan to the city of Houston
• $175,000 loan to the city of Ingram
• $495,000 loan to the Markham Municipal Utility District
