Lucid Energy Opens Utility Center of Excellence
In May, Lucid Energy celebrated the opening of its Center of Excellence in California at Riverside Public Utilities. Nearly 80 people attended the event, which marked the first installation of the LucidPipe Power System in the United States.
Operating inside a 60-inch water pipeline, this system has already produced 10 Megawatt hours of electricity, enough energy for ten homes or six miles of night lighting in the city of Riverside.
Event attendees included energy and water companies Siemens, HDR, Veolia Water and CH2M Hill and people from as far away as Brazil, South Africa and Turkey.
