Rehabilitation
SAK Construction partners with procurement co-op
Pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling services contractor SAK Construction has been named a contract partner by Choice Facility Partners, a Houston-based cooperative purchasing organization available to government entities nationwide.
Choice Facility Partners streamlines the bidding and contracting processes for infrastructure projects for a variety of nonprofits, including cities, counties, school districts, colleges and universities. SAK Construction, headquartered in the St. Louis area, was selected through a competitive bidding process as Choice Facility Partners’ “contract partner” in the master category of trenchless technology rehabilitation.
“SAK’s partnership with Choice Facility Partners incorporates the benefits of cooperative purchasing and enables us to provide CFP members the best overall value in trenchless technology and other pipeline rehabilitation services,” says Charlie Kuhnmuench, vice president of business development, SAK Construction. Technologies offered under the partnership include cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining in water and sewer pipes, pipe bursting in water and sewer pipes, Swagelining of sewer force mains and water transmission mains, CIPP lining in sewer laterals and manhole rehabilitation.
