NTA To Host Owners & Engineers Outreach Program
The Northeast Trenchless Association Inc. (NTA) is hosting an Owners and Engineers Outreach Program at the Windjammer Conference Center in South Burlington, VT, on Sept. 23.
This one-day program is part of NTA’s mission to promote trenchless technologies in the northeastern United States through nonbiased educational opportunities and responsible construction practices.
This special program is intended to provide utility system owners and engineers with a basic understanding of some of the technologies available for trenchless utility construction and rehabilitation including horizontal directional drilling and pipe bursting, as well as an overview of piping materials used in trenchless construction and their design considerations. Three track sessions will cover the basics in addition to typical design and construction considerations for each technology.
The NTA is represented by horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting, pipe ramming, jack and bore and other trenchless contractors. The association’s associate members include equipment and drilling fluid manufacturers, HDPE pipe suppliers, engineers and product support services.
