Volvo Construction Equipment EW230C
The EW230C wheeled excavator is built around a new, more robust platform, which is designed to ensure the stability needed to manage bigger loads, for heavy lifting applications, such as laying big pipe for drainage projects, or hard digging.
The EW230C weighs 21.6-24.3 tons, depending on machine configuration (23.1-25.6 tons with the heavier counterweight.) A choice of 18-feet, 8-inch mono or two-piece boom is available. A Volvo D6E EHE3 diesel engine powers the EW230C, developing 167 hp net at 2,000 rpm. 828.650.2000, www.volvo.com
