Universal HDD’s UNI 160×240 horizontal directional drill offers 160,000 pounds of thrust/pullback with between 23,800-11,900 foot-pounds (at low and high displacement) of rotary torque with rotary speeds of 160-80 rpm (at low and high displacement).
The drill weighs 44,000 pounds. Powered by a John Deere 350-hp turbo diesel engine, it features an onboard mud pump that pumps 300 gpm at 1,200 psi.
