Ferguson Receives McElroy President’s Award
Ferguson, a leading distributor of industrial pipe, valves and fittings recently received the President’s Award from McElroy, a world leader in pipe fusion equipment.
The 2008 custom Waterford vase was awarded for outstanding achievement in the high density polyethylene (HDPE) industry. The award was unveiled March 4 during a ceremony at Ferguson’s headquarters in Newport News, VA.
“This award transcends sales volumes and reflects the vision, leadership and an overall HDPE commitment,” said A.H. “Chip” McElroy, chief executive officer and president of McElroy Manufacturing Inc. “Ferguson has done so much for our success; we hope the relationship has benefited their business as well.” McElroy credits Ferguson’s ability to expand the branch understanding of HDPE pipe and McElroy products with the reason for receiving this award.
