IPLOCA 2008

The International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) recently hosted its annual convention in Athens, Greece with 630 attendees.

Pipeline & Gas Journal sponsored the opening reception for first-time meeting attendees and the IPLOCA board of directors. Pictured at left is Oliver Klinger, publisher of P&GJ, Juan Arzuaga, new IPLOCA executive secretary and Catherine Watkins, sales representative for P&GJ based in Paris. John Reed, C.E.O. of Heerema Marine Contractors, Nederland B.V. and IPLOCA president for 2007-08, addressed the general meeting at the event. With members in more than 40 countries, IPLOCA represents some 250 key players in the onshore and offshore pipeline construction industry worldwide.
