Rubber Tire Trenchers: Ditch Witch RT80
The RT80 is a utility-based, fully hydrostatic trencher with a compact footprint and an 83 gross hp turbocharged diesel engine.
The combination of compact size, narrow wheelbase and exceptional power gives the RT80 the capability to dig trenches in tight spaces that larger trenchers cannot reach. With a top speed of 9.9 mph, the RT80 is unique in that it offers four combinations of torque and speed. The RT80 comes standard with cruise control, which helps reduce operator fatigue, and other operator comforts include a seat that swivels 90 degrees to provide better visibility of the work in progress, and an easy-to-read control panel. The RT80 offers optional rear steering that enables a tighter turn radius and improves maneuverability. The RT80 currently offers traversing trencher, saw and backhoe attachments.
