InnoTek tunneling boring machine excavation inserts
InnoTek has developed special tools for tunneling boring machine (TBM) excavation that feature carbide inserts necessary for advancing the mechanical cutter, as they are designed to dig and scrape rock and/or earth from the excavation front.
Three tools are now available: the Ripper: a digging tool to be used in grounds lacking large stone blocks; the Cutter bit: this tool is housed on the front blades of the TBM head; its task is to remove the material removed by the rippers; and the Scraper: this is a loading tool housed on the profile of the cutting head.
It is used both on earth and rock excavation heads and it guarantees correct operation of the cutter tools located in peripheral areas of the cutting head. (+39) 06 5929241, www.innoteksrl.com
