Michels’ Ranking Rises Among Top Contractors
Michels’ is now celebrating its rise from 64 to 53 on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) Top 400 Contractors.
Each year, the trade publication for the engineering and construction industry ranks the nation’s top construction companies according to their revenue for the year. In 2007, Michels jumped from a 94 ranking up to 64 and now a year later has climbed even higher to rest in the 53rd spot – Michels’ highest ranking to date.
“We are definitely going in the right direction,” says Pat Michels, president of Michels Corp. “Times have been tough, economically; however, we’ve managed to not only do well, but to thrive. I’m very proud of that.”
Despite the slowdown in the economy, 2008 proved to be another productive year for Michels setting revenues to an all-time record high of $1.2 billion.
