Zachry advances Trinity River Authority wastewater infrastructure upgrades
(UI) - Zachry Construction is advancing a multi-year wastewater infrastructure project for the Trinity River Authority of Texas at its Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) facility in Dallas.
The project includes demolition of existing equipment and construction of new containment and support structures, including a chlorine and sulfur dioxide containment building and supplemental storage facilities. Additional work covers site development, utility installation, and system upgrades across the treatment plant.
Scope includes installation of chemical solution piping, plant water systems, stormwater drainage, natural gas lines, and electrical and instrumentation systems, supporting modernization of critical plant operations. The effort is designed to improve safety, reliability, and long-term performance of the facility.
Construction is expected to continue through 2029 as part of ongoing investment in wastewater infrastructure to support regional growth and regulatory requirements.
