Azuria expands water infrastructure platform with Waterline, Caliagua acquisitions
Azuria Water Solutions has expanded its water and wastewater infrastructure platform with the acquisitions of Waterline Renewal Technologies and Caliagua, strengthening the company’s capabilities across trenchless rehabilitation, equipment distribution and construction services.
Waterline Renewal Technologies, headquartered in Ottawa, Ill., provides engineered products and equipment used in the trenchless rehabilitation of wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. Through a nationwide distribution network, the company offers solutions for residential, municipal, commercial and industrial applications. Its portfolio includes several well-known brands in the trenchless market, including Perma-Liner, LMK Technologies, LightRay and APM.
The addition of Waterline expands Azuria’s product offerings in the trenchless rehabilitation segment, particularly in lateral lining technologies. Perma-Liner and LMK provide cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) systems for residential and municipal lateral rehabilitation, while LightRay introduces ultraviolet curing technology for lateral lining. LMK and APM also supply seals and mortars used in municipal wastewater and stormwater rehabilitation projects.
In a separate transaction, Azuria acquired Caliagua, Inc., a California-based contractor specializing in the construction, rehabilitation and modernization of water and wastewater systems. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Anaheim, Caliagua provides engineering and construction services for treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, reservoirs and industrial systems, working with municipalities, utilities and commercial clients throughout the state.
Leadership teams from both companies will remain in place following the acquisitions to support ongoing operations and growth initiatives. Azuria said the deals strengthen its ability to provide integrated water infrastructure solutions spanning rehabilitation technologies, equipment and large-scale construction services.
